The deadline for FNFF’s Photo Contest is looming, but you still have 4 DAYS to get your shots in. In the meantime, I’ll give you a peek of some shots from a selection of the entrants.
These are NOT images that have made the final cut, but they are, however, all excellent. Honorable Mentions we might call them. Hope you enjoy, and don’t forget to get your own photos in before midnight Sunday.
Entries should go to mmtread@fieldnotesfromfatherhood.com.
Thanks to David for an image that gets my mouth watering.

This is a fantastic action shot. The croc in the lower left of the frame provides an ominous sense of menace. You know this is life or death.
Debs at Africa Expedition Support obviously gets to see some amazing wildlife, and this capture of a hazardous river crossing is fabulous.
Shawnee’s photography blog is definitely worth checking out. Lovely images.
Lisa over at NW Frame of Mind contributed this shot of a harbor at sunset. Looks like summer to me.

Statue of Lord Murugan standing 42.7 meters high at the base of 276 steps up to Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur.
It was a whirlwind summer for Sarah and her family, who went from Cyprus to Tokyo and almost everywhere in between. A stunning location, and a great shot.
Tatiana has been a guest blogger on FNFF, and her own site, Wonderland by Tatu, is definitely worth checking out.
So I hope these inspire you to send in your own contributions, and I can’t wait to see your stuff. Remember, entries go to mmtread@fieldnotesfromfatherhood.com. Best to all!
