Summer 2013 Photo Contest – A Last-Minute Deathrow Pardon!

So I guess you folks were always the sort who asked your uni professors for extensions on your term papers. Me too.

Since I announced our newest photo contest, 177 people have seen the post. Do you know how many have entered the contest?

One. At this point she stands a good chance of winning.

Here’s a sneak peak at a few shots from Kamala over at the fantastic Smamaland blog, the sole entrant in the competition thus far. These, by the way, are not even her best photos!

Stuck. I love the light, the action, and the implied backstory in this one.

FNFF currently has at least 1500 more followers than we did for our last photo competition, but last time we had dozens and dozens of entries.

Action shot. Love ’em!

So, for all of you procrastinators out there, I’m extending the deadline another week, because I’m dying to see shots from your summer adventures, I’d like to share your work and your websites with others, and, let’s face it, a competition with one entrant is pretty pointless.

Great climbing shot. Love the perspective.

Send in your best snaps from the summer – anything that speaks of the season to you – and we’ll choose the ten best for you all to vote on.

This is fantastic framing, and a really winning shot.

Dad’s not…No, I mean…well anyway, looks like a cool spot and has summer written all over it.

Best of luck to all, and don’t forget, get your photos in so that we can all share the fun and the glory of summer. Cheers!

  1. I see I missed the entire point of the theme. Lovely images and a wonderful sense of summer.
I’m looking forward to the rest of the entries.
