Today we hiked up Mostnica Gorge, a 1.6 km channel carved in the rock of the river valley a few kilometers northwest of Bohinj. The coursing water has created bowls, potholes, arches, slots, and slides, ever-changing arabesques of stone where the water curls and funnels and drops into deep green pools. It’s a gorgeous walk, and we had a gorgeous day for it. Here’s one particular formation, called the ‘Elephant.’
I love that photo, especially the light and colours. Did you used any special lenses (polarised/ ND etc)?

Thanks, father2b. I sometimes use a polarizing filter, but in this case it’s au naturale. Simply incredible colors on this river. On all the bodies of water around here. Wait till you see some shots of the lake.
