A great blog we follow, called “A Word in Your Ear,” hosts a weekly word challenge. Well-written by a woman who goes, oddly enough, by the fetching tag “skinnywench,” the site has marvelous travel photography and pithy prose. Every week, skinnywench opens her dictionary and selects a word at random, challenging us to come up with something whose theme matches that particular word. Last week it was “mother,” and although we’re behind the curve here, we thought we’d post a few photos. Hope you enjoy!

I’m definitely looking forward to this weekly challenge, and although I’m sure I won’t manage to participate every week, it will be fun to see what words pop up. Thanks, Skinnywench!
